Making Medicare Easy Microsite
A Medicare microsite with a unique, informative user experience using custom iconography.
As one of the states most trusted Medicare providers, Viva Medicare needed a microsite that reflected that responsibility while also clearly and quickly setting themselves apart from their competitors. As part of the team at Cummings Creative Group, we tackled the job of designing the Making Medicare Easy site to showcase what sets Viva Medicare apart.

We quickly realized that there were so many unique ways that Viva Medicare stands out, so we decided to highlight these as “perks” each with its own icon and page. Instead of simply throwing a long list at the user with too many numbers, promises and claims, we wanted to dedicate some time and attention to each one of these perks in a way that made a seemingly difficult process easily understandable.

Going beyond just the content and imagery on the page, we created around 50 custom “perk” icons to be used across several platforms (web, print, social). With identifiable “perk” icons, clear calls-to-action, easy transitions between pages and minimal copy, we helped transform the website into an informative experience while also adhering to the practices and laws set forth by the CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services).
